Architecture as Art

The term architecture refers to the art and science of designing buildings. It is considered an art because architects use creativity, imagination, and aesthetics. Architecture is considered an art. More specifically, it can be categorized as fine and applied art.

Architecture generally carried and lived with humans since the beginning an it cant be escaped, it figures in many ways. Architecture is art, architecture in other arts, architecture was from other arts and the list goes on….

Opinion:

To my personal thinking I think that Architecture goes beyond looks and appearances and colors, every building must and it certainly does have its own spiritual background, every color means something, details speak words.
Coming from the Egyptian writing on walls and telling stories through them, to moving to the middle age where gothic and Romanesque, architecture embraced their religion, gods, history and many things thought their magnificent sculptures and wierd (for that time) Architecture.

The relation between art and architecture is barely inseparable, because you can never construct a building with no art going into it because it would look just blank, the concepts the ideas, the designs behind every building and magnificent architecture is what I consider ART.

Architecture has always shared a blurred line with art. Perhaps it’s not as pure of an art form as sculpture, but in addition to functioning as an occupiable space, it still needs to inspire and make an emotional impact. You can’t just shut that off. Art is in the discussion. If the architecture doesn’t support the needs of the building, the art is clearly disengaged from the architecture itself.
